Meal Plan Basics
When does the meal plan start?
Meal plans begin on August 10, 2024, the first day of classes.
Where can I use my meal plan?
Meal plans may currently be used in Magnolia Cafe and in the bottom of Roulhac Hall, when open.
Am I required to have a meal plan? If so, why?
Residential students (any student living in campus housing, including Magnolia Apartments) are required to have a meal plan. Providing students with nutritious, delicious food and a space in which to build community with new and old friends is very important to us.
How do I select my meal plan? When is the deadline?
Students living in traditional campus housing will automatically be assigned the Golden Plate 19 meal plan. Magnolia Apartment students will be assigned the Tiger Esssentials 10, and can upgrade to the Golden Plate 19 up until August 23.
If I don't live in on-campus housing, can I still get a meal plan?
You are welcome to purchase one of our two flexible Commuter Plans- Tiger Flex 250 or Tiger Block 50 plan, depending on your needs. To make a purchase, email housing@stillman.edu, or visit the Housing Office at Room 129 in the Hay Center anytime during the semester.
How do I cancel or make changes to my meal plan selection?
To cancel or make changes to your meal plan you may email housing@stillman.edu or visit the Assistant Director of Residential Life in person at the Housing Office at Room 129 in the Hay Center
Are guests allowed?
Guests are always welcome, and their meals can be paid for by credit card or with Flex Dollars. Students on a Commuter Block Plan are welcome to use a swipe for a guest meal.
What if I have special dietary needs?
We are happy to discuss and accommodate special dietary needs. Please email us or speak with a manager in person to discuss your dietary needs.
What should I do if my ID card is lost/stolen?
Send an email immediately to housing@stillman.edu, and visit the Residential Life office for a $25 replacement.
When does the meal plan end?
The fall meal plan ends on December 13, 2024.

Flex Dollars
What are Flex Dollars? Do they carryover?
Flex Dollars are included with the purchase of any Resident meal plan and can be used for dollar-for-dollar purchases at late night in Magnolia Café. Flex Dollar balances that are part of the Resident meal plans do not carry over and expire at the end of each semester. However, the Tiger Flex 250 Commuter meal plan does carry over from fall to spring and expires at the end of the spring semester.
What if my Flex Dollars are low?
You may use cash or credit in Magnolia Cafe.
Meal Swipes
If I don't use all of my meals in one week, do they carry over to the next week?
For residential students, meal plans reset on Monday morning at 7 am. Unused meal swipes do not carry over to the following week.
What is the take-out policy?
Reusable containers are coming soon to Magnolia Cafe!
